LEONORA JOSE
From Every Corner of the Curve - exploring pattern on the human form.
This investigation explores the relationship between the body and print and also how a print can accentuate certain areas of the body and the silhouette. Two key elements: How Print affects the body. How the Body affects print. When looking at how print affects the body my main areas of interest are colour, scale and composition. When looking at how the body affects print the study of different types of body shape will play a key role. Looking at female body examples and the idea of print on the body will determine how the body can alter, affect or distort a print design. Final outcomes for this investigation will be in garment form. The garments themselves will showcase a range of different sizes to demonstrate the effect a print can have on the body.
