MARIANNA GEORGIOU
Infinite
Experiments in Mathematical Hand Knitting
This project explores the versatility of handmade knitting which cannot be replicated by the use of a machine. The experiments revolve around theinfinite structure of a Möbius strip of which there is one continuous surface that can sometimes act as an illusion. Hand knitting in this circular method allows for the potential of seamless garments and trimmings.
