Unspun: Wool

The potential of tweed to reform traditionalist thinking and inspire new consumption

This investigation explores the definition and common perception of tweed. It draws on historical information as well as contemporary understanding of the textile to inform the collection. It addresses the importance and variety of the wool used and moreover aims to encourage debate over a reputed, valuable British cloth; blurring the boundaries of its definition and ambiguous perception.
